Victor Furbacken is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer who made his solo recording debut by releasing the critically acclaimed EP 'In the Rain' in 2015. His second EP 'The River' came out in 2018 and Furbacken just released the new EP "Flows", the third EP from his growing solo catalog in March of 2019 and has since then been touring this new material. "Demonic folk-blues", "A master at capturing big emotions by small means", with a "fascinating simplicity" he "sings right into the heart, in the spirit of Damien Jurado..." according to the Swedish press. Stripped down and acoustic, the music taps into the classic singer-songwriter / blues / folk tradition, ranging from Nick Drake and Neil Young to Elliott Smith and following right through to Steven Stills. Victor Furbacken first made his musical voice known in Sweden through his work as a musician in many groups and alongside a wide array of artists in and around the country. With his musical roots branching out from jazz and blues, Furbacken's own music has influences from an eclectic set of genres, which adds to the depth and clarity of his writing style and live performances.
