For 16 years, Live at Heart has been a cornerstone of Örebro’s cultural scene and a vital meeting point for showcases and networking within the Swedish music industry.

In 2026, the festival—in collaboration with Region Örebro County—will initiate and develop an international venture focusing on regional music. By leveraging existing international networks and increasing global participation and visibility, we aim to foster exchange programs and collaborations with festivals, agents, and promoters. The goal is to drive the export of regional music across Sweden and Europe.

In a region boasting exceptional music education and well-established study associations, Live at Heart strives to nurture the talent produced here. We want to develop an attractive environment for musicians, creators, artists, and small cultural businesses—a place where it is entirely possible to work, grow, and maintain a professional home base.

Our long-term vision is to help establish Örebro as a recognized music hub and a future centerpiece of the Swedish music scene.

Together, we are transforming Örebro County into one of Sweden’s premier export regions for live music.

WHAT DOES THE PROJECT ENTAIL?

The purpose is simple yet powerful: to support regional artists by helping them take the leap onto national and international live stages. Live at Heart EXPORT LAB serves as a bridge between the regional music scene and the global market.

Exchange Collaborations: Through partnerships with festivals and promoters across Europe, we create performance opportunities for regional artists on stages that would otherwise be difficult to reach.

• Networking: We provide artists and their representatives with the chance to build valuable connections with international industry professionals.
• Strategic Export: The right music in the right place. We actively market selected music from Region Örebro County to strengthen the city’s cultural life, brand, and overall appeal.
• Export Lab – Tools, Knowledge & Coaching: Ensuring the right preparations to maximize the impact of international collaborations and performances.
