SKIDDERPUP (CA)

Formed in the summer of 2001 in Grand Bank Newfoundland, Canada. Dave Noseworthy, Damon Greene and Chad Grandy had a chemistry that was evident from the start. All three members were equally respected musicians in their own right having made a name for themselves with earlier bands playing the Newfoundland and Labrador festival and bar circuits as well as playing regular stints on the island of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. (France).

Skidderpup, after 21 years, continue to play the local music scene, major events and festivals. Skidderpup has entertained in France on several occasions. In 2018 the band was featured at both major festivals,  Live At Heart Orebro (Sweden) as well as its sister event, Live At Heart Newfoundland. In 2019 the band opened for Collective Soul at the largest festival in the world, Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI.

Skidderpup hasn’t forgot it’s roots. They have been major local volunteers, even receiving an award for Volunteer Organization of the  Year. Most recently the band rallied their small community together and in only 2 short days, managed to raise over $14,000 for 2 local families who lost everything in a devastating apartment fire.

The bands Eclectic Rock sound is quite versatile with tight arrangements, inventive harmonies, fine musicianship and well crafted songs. Their dynamic sound pays homage to the great heartland rockers of the 70’s and 80’s.
