In May, the first single from Hannes Aitman, 'Dying For A Name', was released. Now over 400,000 streams on Spotify and 3,8k Shazams. The song quickly attracted attention when it was picked up by Jan Gradvall in both Nyhetsmorgon and DI, calling it superb and stated that "it's very rare that a debutant comes along who is this good." The song quickly entered the Spotify Top 50 Viral, peaking at #2 and stayed for over a month. ’Dying For A Name’ also became this week's listener favorite on P4.
Now it's finally time for a longer project from the 19-year-old from Västerås, the four-track EP 'Dying For A Name’ also available on Vinyl. In addition to the debut single, the project contains three new songs "The devil Is Creeping Up On Me", "Fate" and "Too Much", all written and produced by Hannes and then completed together with producer Erik Bernholm. All three are clear examples of his unmistakable ability to write touching lyrics and melodies.
