DRIVET is a band out of Sundsvall, Sweden, and was formed around 2018. The band started out as a coverband with members Jonas Nyman (guitar/ song) and Petter Nyqvist (guitar/ song/ percussion), but has since moved towards original songwriting. The style of the band floats vaguely between folk, rock, blues, americana, pop, country, bluegrass and even stoner rock. Since 2020, the band consists of additional members Sofie Backman on cello, Jonathan Sandgren on various instruments such as flutes, accordion and mandolin, Lukas Häggström on bass and David Killander on drums. The sets now mainly consists of original material, instead of the covers they started out with. The band released their first EP called ”Over Time” in the fall of 2021. They released two additional songs under the name ”Time To Borrow” in April 2022. In April 2023 the band released their latest album "MOTVIND"
