The Black Belt Songwriting Camp is a chance for Songwriters, musicians, and lyricists with a desire to share their talent from around the world to participate in a songwriting camp in Sweden, one of today’s more notable hot spots when it comes to pop music.

Swedish Songwriter/Producer/Mix engineer Tim Larsson, a part of the production team The Collab Music. After a steady flow of #1 chart successes across Europe & Japan, have found themselves embraced by US and UK mainstream pop with tracks written and/or produced for Rascal Flatts (US), Celine Dion (US), Katherine Jenkins (UK), and the fact that they wrote the only original song on Susan Boyle’s debut album selling over 12 million copies world wide. The have been in the Eurovison Song Contest with 20 different songs. They have also written the music for several ad campaigns and TV shows including IKEA, 3 Mobile and Swedish National TV (SVT).
Some of Drew Young’s past career highlights have included general manager of Clinton Recording Studios in NYC, music consultant for episodic TV series The Big Easy and soundtrack and digital marketing for Liongate Television.
ERIK PETERSSON felt the need to gather all the raw talent in Örebro under one roof – so he did. But he didn’t know that he would become a publisher and streaming label entrepreneur.
– Three years ago I met Jan Beime and Per Gessle. That changed everything. With Jan/Per as my investors – but more importantly – my mentors, we founded RadioAddict Music Group.
Three years later, RadioAddict administrate 10-15 songwriters and producers, a handfull of artists, a #1 hit song in Japan and are currently working with major labels and artist around the world.
Oscar Nordström (Nordstorm) is a Swedish Producer and DJ who as a child, started off his musical journey by being schooled in Blues / Jazz Guitar and later, 14 years old, he picked up the Piano and also started producing his own tracks.
He was discovered by Canadian Indie-label; Portrait Digital thru a Youtube video where he in 2009 released his debut E.P. ”Isbjorn”. The song ”Berguv” gets immediate support from Armin Van Buuren and the following years Oscar continues to write new music and climbs among different Indie labels towards more established record deals. At 28 years old and after running several discos and clubs in Stockholm, Oscar moved to Los Angeles for his studies at “Musicians Institute” where he finished 2 degrees, Audio Engineering and Music Business. The following summer he worked at the Swedish label TEN Music, LA and interned at LA based management company Milk & Honey, LA.
In 2017 he moved back to Sweden where he today runs a studio called “Artona AB” together with some friends. They run the club ”Neu” at Berns in Stockholm and when he´s not producing / mixing for himself or other artists, he commutes between Stockholm and Örebro where he has found his permanent spot over the summer.
With an extended experience from the business all corners and a “360 mindset”, Oscar is a perfect example of ”DIY” and has thru out the years gathered vital information about controlling your own brand and how to build a solid platform to work from.
