Rose Spearman (NL)

Rose Spearman is the daughter of the American Jazz saxophone
player Glenn Spearman and the Dutch artist Marthe Stigter. Rose’
singing and songwriting music credits include winning the prestigious
European Border Breakers Award, two international and critically
acclaimed solo albums on United Recordings and Sony Music,
performing internationally including the Lowlands Festival, Pink Pop,
North Sea Jazz, Montreux Jazz Festival, Ultra Music Festival Miami,
the UK Glastonbury Festival and many more. She has also wandered
the world with Kraak & Smaak, collaborated with international DJs
and was one of the few Dutch artists to appear on the American
syndicated television show Jimmy Kimmel.

Rose started up M.A.R.S. Worldwide together with Marcel Albers in
2014. The company connects music fans with music makers and is
built on the reputation of tenacity and ingenuity, offering it’s artists
and third party labels every conceivable service available in the
business of music. Rose states, “With M.A.R.S. being almost four
years old, I am proud that we have released some top ten albums in
the Benelux and we are very excited about the albums that are
coming out now and receiving great reviews. Running a label and
receiving recognition with our endeavor has been quite a job, but
I’ve also been able to keep the space to write my own music, record
and play live, as I have always done with my previous music
projects”.
